    Job Description


    Support the Region by providing administrative, analytical and investigatory skills as they relate to human resources compliance, communication and problem solving with employees and managers.


    Key Responsibilities:  In addition to the requirement of regular and predictable attendance for this position, list 5 additional key responsibilities in order of importance to the job/department.  Include the estimated time spent on each in a given week.

    1. Address inquiries from employees and managers to provide support and direction as needed.
    2. Complete data entry for change of status information on current employees, Performance Tracker.
    3. Last Day Worked Report process and follow up with assigned DM.
    4. Initiate and track FMLA, 30 Day & Military Leave for hourly employees for the Region. Process Motor Vehicle Records Check an annual basis (or as required) for employees working at sites requiring licenses.


    Additional Responsibilities:

    1. Review Disciplinary / Counseling Statements.
    2. Investigate employee complaints.
    3. Provide information regarding unemployment claims to UC vendor, as required.
    4. Provide support regarding Workers’ Compensation claims – initial information to WC vendor as well as assistance in the return-to-work process.


    1. Performance Evaluation Report.
    2. I9 Expiration Report.



    BS/BA Human Resources or Business is preferred

    Minimum 4 years hands on business/HR experience.


    Other requirements or competencies:

    • Basic knowledge of human resource legislation and Federal, State, and Local employment laws.
    • Has a track record of understanding the sensitive nature of and confidentiality required in any Human Resource position.
    • Customer service orientation; positive, enthusiastic, open minded disposition.
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written) with staff at all levels
    • Sound judgment, a strong attention to detail, and proficiency in MS Office and HRIS systems.
